1/60 Scale Macross Zero QF-2200D-B Ghost Booster - Part 2

This is the continuation from Part 1.

Installing the booster is easy.

It only takes two pegs from the flip-down wing canard and slotting the wings to the two rudders, & it fits very well.

I hold the VF-0S vertically & upside down and it still attaches itself snuggly.

An unnamed stealth fighter in the Macross Zero series best known as a modified booster attached to the VF-0A & 0S.

No change on the package. Flip up lid.

Thruster.

Detachable sensor.

Part 2 will be the review of the booster with the VF-0S.

1/60 Scale Macross Zero VF-0S : The Arrival

To err is human.

I'm no exception.

My intention on purchasing this particular toy was short lived a single letter; 'A'.

I intended to purchase the Yamato 1/60 VF-0A, but due to my carelessness, I end up with VF-0S.

Not that I'm complaining. The only different between those two are the colour scheme & head mold.

More on the VF-0S on the next entry.

Yamato announced that they're be releasing the reissue of the 1/60 scale VF-0A and VF-0S from the Macross Zero series.

I asked the local toy shop whether they'll be bringing in the reissue, & the answer is a disappointing 'don't know.'

Apparently there's a silver lining to the predicament when I browsed the online hobby store, AmiAmi etc.

No only they selling at a discounted price, but EMS shipping is at half price, & when I checked the price sold previously, the online store is cheaper.

So I pre-ordered it late February & made the payment late April.

Due to Japan having their Golden Weeks Holiday, they can only shipped it on 6th May.

Today the package arrived.

The package is humongous!

1st Hauls of 2010

These are my somewhat massive hauls for 1 quarters of 2010 that I consider a must get.

Revoltech's VF-1A

- Cool transformable Valkarie from Revoltech. Sure, its not as uber cool as Yamato's, but it can do poses as any Revoltech would.

There are 5 designs in total, & I might not get 'em all. : P

Transformer Human Alliance Barricade.

- A MUST GET if you already has the HA Bumblebee. The car mode is spot on, & the robot mode is better than the Voyager class.

I didn't go for HA Skidd b'cause he looks to fat, & I neither did I get HA Sideswipe 'cause the robot mode looks funny.

Will do a blog/review on it soon.

Lightning Base for Gundam.

- From Bandai, a base that lights up. Comes in blue & red. Bought this for my 1/100 Red Astray clear edition.

Thought it would look cool to see the Gundam's inner body glows red.

It didn't. Especially if you rooms too bright.......

It can combine with the action base for 1/100 which I think is cool.

1/60 Scale Macross VF-1S - Low Visibility Version

Its finally here!
After months of waiting, I finally got the long awaited 1/60 Scale Macross VF-1S - Low Visibility Version from YAMATO.
There's already a Low Visibility version, but that is for the 1/48 scale.

PO'ed at XL last June & it sold out on August. This is my 2nd Yamato & my 1st VF & I must say, I'm starting to like the 1/60 Macross series.

Yamato seems to discard the flip up window on the new toyline.
To cut production cost, maybe?

1/60 Destroid Defender

While some hauled in their X-Wings (congrats to you), I snatched up this not-so-new Destroid Defender from Macross.
It has nice articulation & details, & a lot of stickers.

This is a preview, so I will update this post later on.
