iPhone 4

iPhone 4 has finally hit Malaysian shores.

It is considered to be a big event with local tv station making live coverage of the launch. The launch was organised by one of the local telco, Maxis, which offers the iPhone at a 'subsidised' price along with its call plans.

The launching was on the 23rd Sept and I only manage to book for the 2nd day of the launch which is on the 24th.

I must say, the organiser made a boo-boo by reducing the sales counter which resulted in customers waiting for their iPhone up to the wee hours of the morning.

Despite the weariness, people still wait to get their hands on the merchandise.

It was worth the wait.

Exciting & tiring week.

Went to search for Luke for the snowspeder but end up seeing the new wave of Star Wars vehicles instead.

So I got me a Hyena.

i also got a new Phone 4 myself.

iPhone 4 Launch 23rd Sept. 2010

This is what I saw when I opened my e-mail this morning, an invitation for the new iPhone 4 launch this 23rd September 2010.

Initially I was stoked to see the rates somewhat similar (cheaper?) to the 3GS & iPhone's price is less than I initially expected (kira within budget la).

There are dissatisfaction over the plan offered as it mainly caters for new iPhone 4 owners and not to the current 3GS owners who wants to upgrade their current iPhone. Upgrading their current plan still requires them to pay extra.

The iPhone 4-owner-hopefuls (fingers crossed) received an email notifying of the launch & your intention to book a spot to attend the launch.

There's the Pre-Launch, Midnight Launch & Day Launch which will take place at The Gardens Hotel & Residence starting on the 23rd to 25th Sept.

The Pre & Midnight launch are already booked, so that left me with the Day Launch.

There is a concern with the launch is that the Bumper case does not come with the package.

For those who haven't follow the iPhone 4's news etc, there is a design flaw with the phone whereby if holding it 'incorrectly', you would get a signal drop.

Hence, Apple has agreed to give out free Bumpers to new iPhone 4 users.

The thing is, theres a lot of alternative smartphones out there in the market that rivals the iPhone.

Most of them are good.

It all comes down to user preferences to which phone that would fit your lifestyle.

Well see in a few days how Digi would present their plan.

RG 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam : WIP #01

This kit is to commemorate Gundam's 30th anniversary & to mimic the 1/1 scale RX-78-2 at Shizuoka.

Been excited about this kit ever since it was announced few months ago.

I'm not a fan of 1/144 scale gunplas mainly because of its articulation & details are not as good as an MG. Yes, there are a few that came out with better articulation, but none came close in detail than the RG.

RG or Real Grade is a grade higher than HGUC in 1/144 scale. Theres a lot of parts that make up for the panels etc. Its like building an MG (Master Grade) but in smaller scale.

Pre-Raya Hauls : Mags & Hot Wheels.

I start to get interested in collecting the "DC Comics Super Hero Collection" when I purchased the 1st issue. All thanks to cowboy75, saruman & The Rebel for the introduction, and poison.

So I went to a local bookstore & got the 2nd issue, Superman.

Batman : "I'm Batman."

For those who already starting collecting or have purchased the figurines, it is hand painted lead which is quite hefty in weight.

Since it is hand painted, each individual figurine is different. You have to look at each one to see for defect in painting.

Batman : "I'm Batman."

Superman : "We know!!"

Got this at the local mall, the GTX wave. It seems it has been on th rack for a while & all the good one are, obviously, taken.

Browsing around TrU, I found another Snowspeeder tucked behind the shelves along with the numbers of Cloud Cars & Jedi Starfighters.

This will be kept as MISB & the one I already have will be customize for battle damage.

Transformers: Hunt for the Decepticons Leader Class - Starscream

This has been in the market for quite sometime & it is one of two of the leader class for the Hunt for the Decepticons 2010 toyline.
The other is, of course, Optimus Prime battle damage version.


Most, if not all, of the HFTD packaging are yellow. Its skinnier than the ROTF package & has a lot of tying wire.
