1/60 Scale Macross Zero VF-0S : Pheonix

This is a reissue Yamato's VF-0S from the Macross Zero series. It said to resolved few problems from the previous release which was 1st released at 2006.
I say there's room for more improvements.

A face only its designer would love.

The VF-0S is another great design from the Macross universe. The design is a close resemblance to the F-14 and being the VF-1's predecessor it follows well to the original series.
However, being a 'reissue' doesn't mean its all perfect. Yes they have corrected the shoulder joints, but there are other flaws that would made you say "WTF is Yamato doing!". The other VF-1 line have a better quality build & finish than this one.

With that being said however, it still doesn't hinders the transformation and its playability. Some part pop off (which made me glue them back together), but I can't stop but awe at its design.
