Hot Wheels Batman Series 3

A new edition to the Hot Wheels Batman is the Series 3 1/50 scale (correct me if I'm wrong). The Batpod & Tumbler from the Dark Knight are from the previous series which I missed..... :' (
The 3rd Series are the Batmobile, boat & Batwing from Batman Movie, Batman Return, Batman Super Friends and 1966 TV series.

I don't collect this particular line/series, but once I saw the Batwing, I grabbed it right away. Its the frickin' Batwing from the frickin' (first) movie! Bloody awesome, that.

There are 5 in total, as shown on the back of the cards. I could snatch all five but I didn't like the boat & the Batmobile from the cartoon. So I pass.

1st Hauls of 2010

These are my somewhat massive hauls for 1 quarters of 2010 that I consider a must get.

Revoltech's VF-1A
- Cool transformable Valkarie from Revoltech. Sure, its not as uber cool as Yamato's, but it can do poses as any Revoltech would.
There are 5 designs in total, & I might not get 'em all. : P

Transformer Human Alliance Barricade.
- A MUST GET if you already has the HA Bumblebee. The car mode is spot on, & the robot mode is better than the Voyager class.
I didn't go for HA Skidd b'cause he looks to fat, & I neither did I get HA Sideswipe 'cause the robot mode looks funny.

Will do a blog/review on it soon.

Lightning Base for Gundam.
- From Bandai, a base that lights up. Comes in blue & red. Bought this for my 1/100 Red Astray clear edition.
Thought it would look cool to see the Gundam's inner body glows red.
It didn't. Especially if you rooms too bright.......
It can combine with the action base for 1/100 which I think is cool.

UPosto!

UP
is an emotional experience for me.The movies starts off with the story of Carl and Ellie. Growing up together as a budding couple from their childhood to becoming husband and wife.
It shows their ups & down until a heart wrenching scene where Ellie dies of old age.
Those scene alone makes my lips quiver & my eyes water. 'sniff'

Anyhooo.......

The package itself is quite heavy, weighing 0.24kg................. : P
It consists of :
- 2 blu-ray disc (feature film, bonuses)- 1 feature DVD (maybe so that you could play it at a friends/parents/grandparents DVD player)
- 1 digital copy for tour iPhone etc.

There is a story related to UP.
It is a story of a young Colby Curtin, who was ill with a terminal cancer, & her last dying wish was to see UP before she dies.
The family contacted PIXAR of her request, and their employees sends her a DVD (which was not yet released) for a private screening along with goodies from UP.
She was to weak to open her eyes to see the movie that her mother had to described to her every scene. She lost to cancer 7 hours later at age 10. :' (

Anyway...........

UP is a worthy collection to your movie library. Be it a blu-ray or DVD's, the story itself is exciting, heart wrenching and fun to see.
It is considered to be the best movie of the year (2009).
A must watch for the movie, and a must get for the blu-ray(or DVD).

POSTO! 9

My prawns has arrived!

A must see for sci-fi fans & a must buy for blu-ray lovers.

District 9 is written & directed by Niel Blomkamp which also did Alive In Joberg.
This movie is pure gore.
Now I got the chance to see the uncut version.

New Amazon packaging. Easy to open this time.

Blu-ray sleeve's & back cover.

Demo for God Of War III.
Huuuu....I'm all tingly!

So for the review of the blu-ray; here, & for the movie here.
It recieved a 'Certified Fresh' from RT with 90%.

Inglorious POSTO!

We're in the Nazi killin' business!

Another Quentin's finest.
It was based on the title of the same name way back during '78, but with totally different story.

If you expecting Band of Brothers & Saving Private Ryan type genre, you'll be dissapointed. This is more of the Quentin's storyline-badass-PG13 genre.

Content consist of 1 nos. Blu-ray disc & 1 nos. digital copy (DVD).

Futher info on the blu-ray can be found here.
